This teacher's day students of the IBDP section of Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania school presented a unique tribute to our teachers, showcasing the creativity and deep respect the students have for the mentors who shape their lives. The day started with a heartwarming and inspiring assembly presented by the DP 1 students. The highlight of the assembly was a series of poetry recitations, where students shared both self-written and famous poems dedicated to teachers. Each poem was carefully selected or crafted to reflect the immeasurable impact teachers have on their students. Beyond the poetry, each teacher was personally recognized and thanked by the students, making the event not just a performance, but a sincere gesture of appreciation. The assembly created an atmosphere of warmth, respect, and celebration, as teachers were reminded of the important role they play in shaping young minds and hearts. The IBDP year 2 cohort take on the mantle of their teachers and plan out peer teaching activities for their junior cohort. It was a day of collaboration and inquiry as the students delivered beautifully planned lessons. From making their juniors revise the twelve TOK concepts through debates and activities to a collaborative class on Behavioural Economics and impact of Consumer Behaviour on the market share to a deep discussion on authorial choices in the English class, Spanish and French vocabulary and mathematical concepts it was an engaging learning experience for all. It made the day extra special for the teachers as they saw their students put all the ATL skills to practice and demonstrate the attributes of true IB learners.
