The auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima was celebrated by IBDP year 2 learners.on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. The tradition of offering gratitude and reverence to teachers on this day was beautifully captured in the morning assembly by recalling the day as birth anniversary of one of the prominent sages, Ved Vyasa followed by sharing thoughts on the irreplaceable role of teachers in a learner’s life. The learners embellished the event by presenting it in Hindi, English, and Marathi. A quiz on ‘Famous Teachers and their Disciples ‘enraptured teachers. The event marked its closure by felicitating every teacher with a beautiful gesture of presenting an ingenious hamper comprising of a rose, a planter, betel leaves, coconut along with rock candies encased in student-made paper bags. Ms. Sangeeta Kapur, the DP Coordinator, commemorated the celebration by acknowledging the efforts put in by the students for the assembly and evoking the invaluable role of our mother as our first guru
