The annual Science Exhibition Anweshan was a fabulous opportunity for the IB year 1 students to demonstrate interesting experiments to their younger peers. From Psychology experiments in class for the juniors to innovative and unique displays on Physics, Chemistry, Biology, ESS, Math and Computer Science there was a wide repertoire of learning experiences.

Never before was the IB hall in such a buzz, with participants frantically working to set up their respective projects and displays with the utmost care and perfection What stood out the most was a profound passion for realm of science that was just as visible on each participant’s face as in their projects.

The projects themselves were exceedingly impressive and defied norms as many of them tackled grave world problems and nonstandard fields of science. Keeping up with the steady flow of inquisitive young students and explaining the science behind our project in detail was an exhilarating challenge. Notable, psychology and computer science, which fall outside the box of “conventional” science, were deservingly given an equal seat at ANWESHAN. As a result, many students were enlightened with the wonders of the human mind and the infinite potential of technology.

At the end of the day, everyone was truly a winner due to the learning and memories that ANWESHAN 2024 gave them and the scientific rigor they developed in the process of making their projects.
