The Singhania IBDP students proved themselves true to the IB mission of becoming responsible global citizens with the launch of Spark2Sustain. This CAS project is a collaborative initiative of the computer science, art and ESS students. Armed with posters and information about the impact of E-waste on the environment, the IBDP students approached the students of grade 5-8 to encourage them to take part in the E-waste collection drive in the school. The response was overwhelming. Students and teachers donated a large quantity of e-waste. This waste would have had a negative impact on the environment if disposed of irresponsibly. The students have used some of the products for making jewellery and the rest will be donated with the help of CROMA. The jewellery that the students have made will be gifted to guest speakers and resource persons who come to our school for conducting sessions. This project has been a great learning experience for all the students and has helped them to imbibe various skills.
