International Hindi Day
Jan 11, 2021
On 11.01.2021, the IBDP section celebrated the 'International Hindi Day' with great enthusiasm. Year 1 students presented a special assembly program in Hindi. Hindi is one of the most widely spoken languages of the world and is becoming very popular amongst people of other countries. Hindi is a very strong medium of entertainment. People love to learn Hindi to know Indian culture in a better way. This was beautifully presented in the Assembly program.
In continuation of International Hindi Day celebration IBDP Year 1, Hindi students organized a student exchange program with Hindi students of Anglo -Chinese School (Independent) Singapore.
Our students presented a ‘Nukkad Natak’ which was based on water conservation. This was written, directed and acted by the students of year 1 under CAS. After screening of the Nukkad Natak, there was a question and answer session by students of both the schools. It turned out to be a very fruitful session as students got to know the importance of water conservation. We are thankful to the teacher in charge of Singapore school –Mr. K K Pandey for facilitating this exchange program.
