The IBDP students celebrated Christmas with the students of Patil Madhyamik Shala Yeoor this morning at school. This school is part of our school's social outreach program, specifically the 'Setu – Bridging the Gap' project. The initiative was a CAS initiative for the IB students.

It was a morning of sharing and giving, as the IBDP visual arts students painted Christmas tattoos for the little children, sang songs, and enacted a skit with the message "Believe in Yourself." The highlight of the event was an activity where the children wrote down their aspirations and hung them on the Christmas tree. Reading their wishes, Principal Ma'am aptly advised the children to be their own Santa and strive to achieve their aspirations. The smiles on the faces of these little ones as they received their goodies from Santa were worth a million dollars. It was a great learning experience for the IB students as they learned the values of empathy and sharing.
